Wallpaper of The Week: K-ON 5

10 04 2011

When I open this blog today, I was screaming in jollyness to see such a cute display of Vocaloid chibis. It felt like I’m being welcome by them to stay longer reading to this blog. Great work on this, Kaza-kun! I really love it!

Beat of the Day: Green Day – Boulevard of Broken Dreams

10 04 2011

This would’ve been done yesterday but..oh well, nevermind, you guys get the drill. This week’s Beat of the Day was a painful decision. I have so much songs that I wanted to insert but I know I have to pick out only one. Maybe next time, I should put up a collaboration post with all my music that I want to post out for BotD but never got officially chosen.

Today’s song of the day is Green Day – Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Green Day is a punk rock band established back around the late 1980s-90s. They still are present, but this song is from their second newest album, released in 2004 called American Idiot. This song is released in November 29 of the same year.

I’ve known this song for a very long time (maybe when I was in Grade 5…?) and I really liked this song. I first heard this song from an old friend back then and then I got into it. Boulevard of Broken Dreams has received a Grammy Award for the year of this song’s release, as this song is one of Green Day’s most famous hit songs, apart from their titular song “American Idiot”.

Well, anyway, enjoy this week’s beat (Because I’m usually a weekly updater for BotDs, maybe I should start a new post that goes by the name of Beat of the Week instead? Maybe that sounds better than Day because I never update daily?).

Wallpaper of The Week: Vongola Primo

10 04 2011

Eventhough I had posted my version of wallpaper of the week, I just can’t stand not to share this picture to all the Katekyo Hitman Reborn out there. Vongola Primo is such a cool guy compare to Decimo/ Tsunayoshi. He has that mysterious aura by saying “Don’t follow the path I once took”. Ahh, such a cool character.

How do I put this song? It’s a metaphor of a person who is in obsession in loneliness or you can say he is apathy to his current world. There is a book that puts him in complete induced by the author’s life. As he goes on to his journey to someplace, his view transitions to the author’s view little by little.

The song itself it’s already beautiful, in addition to that, the MMD preview does a spectacular job in capturing all the emotion of this song. The attention to details by the author in creating this preview deserves a million hugs from all over the world.
