Another post? I’m on a roll!!! I will try and get the weekly artist post up today, so if you have any suggestions, I would be glad to use them.

Based on comments and Likes, My most popular post was my “Alice of Human Sacrifice” one. So here is another video like that, by the same person, with the same anime. This is another one where its helpful to turn on subtitles, because it just adds to the effect of the video. Do I even need to put a blood warning on it? I mean, its Umineko, what do you expect?

AMV Time – Higurashi: This is Halloween

And…..CUE DRAMATIC ENTRANCE

Wow, It’s been forever since I have posted. I must fix that!  -posts-

I just started school a few weeks ago, and I went on a cruise, so I haven’t really had time to post recently. But now that i’m back into a schedule, that should be fixed, and more AMV’s and music for you!!

Oh, and I came up with a new name for my posts, As you can tell ^-^

HAPPY REALLY EARLY HALLOWEEN!!!!
I dont know why, but I was just in the mood for some Halloween music. So I came across this AMV, and decided to share it. The song is, obviously, This is Halloween. Its the Nightmare before Christmas version though, I prefer the Marilyn Mason version.  Sadly, the video was made using subbed footage, but it is still amazing regardless. Its also only his/her 2nd AMV, so this video is really good for how much experience he/she has.

BLOOD WARNING!! ~ This video was made using Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, so it has a fair amount of blood and gore in it

IM BACKK!!!!! Miss me? Of course you did!

Here is one for The Girl who Leapt Through Time. Its not exactly a comedy AMV, but I had to laugh at it a little. I think a total of 2 effects were used, and only one time each time. I must say, I missed the joke for “Roll to me”  the first time I watched it. Now it makes total sense. I have to add this to my list of things to watch, but I have kinna put anime on hold for a few weeks. (How I am doing this without breaking down, I dont know.)

Daily AMV – Kat Deluna – Dancing Tonight

-sigh- Sometimes I really hate summer. Not only did I have the mission trip last week, i had another summer camp this week, and will have ANOTHER the next 2 weeks. I cant wait untill school starts (I cant believe I am saying that) so I will have a more consistent schedule. On the bright side, I have had more time to work on AMVs and have gotten the episodes for higurashi and am getting the ones for KH.

Speaking of AMV’s, time for your daily AMV! (Which seems to not be so daily anymore. Any suggestions for a new name for this feature?)

I just love this one. the placement of clips and the effects were perfect. Kat Deluna needs more attention as an artist. Her music is way batter than Lady Gaga and Nikki Minaj.

Daily AMV – Kuroshitsuji ♔ ⌈Run Devil Run⌋

Hey all!! I am currently on a Mission trip, So I might not be able to post often. I will try to do my (non)daily AMV posts, but I wont be able to do my weekly artist post. So here is a really quick AMV. It is another Black butler AMV (don’t kill me ^-^) to the song Run Devil Run by Ke$ha. I personally prefer the version by SNSD, but I think that this version works best for the purpose of the video. The masking an the text in this video are AMAZING!!

Weekly artist – FictionJunction

Hey everyone! I ment to post yesterday, but I am still recovering from summer camp. I even fell asleep at the computer yesterday! This weeks artist still confuses me. Hope I get most of the info right. So after about an hour of googling, I present to you, FictionJunction!

FictionJunction is another project by Yuki Kajiura. FictionJunction is focused on Yuki, While FictionJunction Yuuka is focused on a single member of  the group, Yuuka Nanri. Yukka is not the only other version of FJ, There is also: Asuka, Kaori, Keiko, Wakana and Kaidi. But Yuuka is currently the most popular.

How Fictionjunction works is: Yuki composes a song and one of the girls, lets say Keiko, sings it. That makes the song part of the FictionJunction Keiko branch of FJ. As of now the only branch that has released an album is Yuuka. She has released both Circus and Destination.

FictionJunction has released 2 albums as well, Everlasting songs and The best of Yuki Kajiura live, both of which feature the vocals of all the member in FictionJunction.

Some of FictionJunction’s most popular songs are Parallel hearts (OP of Pandora Hearts) Toki no Mukou Maboroshi no Sora (OP of Ookami Kakushi) Cazador del amor (El Cazador de la Bruja)  and Dream Scape (Insert song for Tsubasa Chronicle)

My favorite album has to be Everlasting songs. It features many of their singles and has all the artists in a variety of songs.

Daily AMV – Umineko AMV – Alice Human Sacrifice

WARNING: There is some blood in this one, but nothing that will scar you for life. Well………Maybe.

This one was made by the lovely Layra. This one has to be one of my all time favorite videos, mainly because the clips actual MATCH the lyrics. Perfectly!! I have not actually seen Umineko yet, but i’m working on it. I just finished watching Higurashi season 1, and downloaded the episodes for Kai. The song is the ever famous Vocaloid, yet not Vocaloid, song “Alice of Human Sacrifice”  And, unless you can understand Japanese, make sure to have subtitles on, or the video wont make any sense.

Well, I’m off to summer camp, so I wont be able to post untill next Monday-ish. See ya then!!

Daily AMV – Dear Agony || Ciel and Alois

WARNING: You are about to read a post made by a mega Kuroshitsuji fangirl. You have been warned.

So this has to be my favorite anime of all time. Every time I watch this video, no matter how many times I have seen it, I cant help but cry. If you know the series, you will understand why. This one is about how Ciel and Alois went through so many hard things in their lifetime.  I absolutely adore those 2, and seeing this video, make sme love them even more. There might be a few spoilers, but I dont think there is anything that will kill it for you.

Weekly artist – Kalafina

Decided to start a  new post sires! I dont know if this will be weekly or not, but I will try! I have noticed that there are a lot of posts on songs by artists, and albums they release, but never some about the artist themselves. I’m going to try and give you information on the band/artist, some of their well known songs and at least 1 album download. Since Maddzz recently did a post on Kalafina, Thought I might give you some more information on them!

Kalafina was formed in 2007 by the popular pianist and composer, Yuki Kajiura. The main purpose of the band was to sing the theme songs for the anime “The Garden of Sinners.” Kalafina also has 2 of the members from one of Yuki’s other projects, FictionJunction. There debut was is  January of 2008. Aside from concerts in japan, they have preformed at Anime Boston and will be preforming at AX this year.

The current members of Kalafina are:

Yuki Kajiura: Composer

Wakana Otaki: Vocalist

Hikaru Masai: Vocalist

Keiko Kubota: Vocalist

Some of their more notable songs are Magia (Mahou Shoujo Magi Madoka ED) Hikari no Senritsu (So Ra No Wo To OP) Sora no Shijima ni wa (Kuroshitsuji ED) Progressive (First single that was not used in an anime) Oblivious (The garden of sinners OP) and Lacrimosa (Kuroshitsuji ED)

As of now they have released 2 albums, Seventh Heaven and Red Moon, with a third one planned to come later this year. Seventh Heaven came out in march 2009, and has a total of 14 tracks. Red moon was released in march 2010, with 13 tracks.

Daily AMV – [Air TV] Awakening Curse

This lovely one was made by Hikayagami. She is by far on of the best editors I have seen. Once again, There is not much to say about this one, you just have to watch it.

Sasuke and Lady Gaga

O_o Where did I come up with that title? -gets disturbing mental image of sasuke in a bubble dress-

Anyways, I was browsing YouTube today and came across some interesting things: Noriaki Suguyama and a Vocaloid song. Lets start with the Vocaloid!

Most cover songs for Vocaloid’s are sung in English. I had yet to see one that the lyrics were changed to Japanese. But then I found this version of Telephone. It is sung by Miku and Rin, and made by the amazing ChaoFreak1. So far Chao has not released the lyrics for it yet, so I wont be able to give you that :(   Rin makes a great Beyonce! XD

Noriaki Suguyama is the VA for many characters that you might know. England (APH) William T. Spears (Kuroshitsuji) Sasuke (Naruto) and many others. He has released character songs for all of those characters, and a few others. He also has his own album. (Yes, you can now listen to your beloved Sasuke sing) One of my favorite songs by him is one of  William T. Spears.

Daily AMV – Nostromo Magic Pad

This is an a extremely popular AMV created by someone called Nostromo. As far as I know, he/she dose not have a YouTube, but he has had countless people upload his videos on the site. Magic pad is one of his better know ones. It is a mix of 40 different animes (O_0)  Sorry for such a short post, but I think that this video speaks for itself.

Daily AMV – Toradora! – Rough Love (Grow a Pear)

Well, I dont have much time to write today. So here is a quick post for you.

TORADORA!!! I haven’t actually see it yet, but it looks like a really good anime. This was also at the last convention I went to, and it won best romance comedy.  It also got best comedy at anime Boston. There is a lot more info in the video desc. Daily AMV – Poison [The Harem MEP]

Heyz!! So this lovely AMV I have here for today, is full of Bishi, so all you fangirls (Like myself) will love it. It is a collaboration between 6 different editors. They all took their 5 favorite anime boys, and mashed them all together is one giant video. One of my favorite things about MEP’s, is you get to see all the different editing styles of so many people in around 3 minutes.  Song is Poison by Groove Coverage.

Daily AMV – On the floor (Jennifer Lopez)

Todays AMV is a Mix of anime. (Gurren Lagann – Yoko special, The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Rosario + Vampire capu 2, K-ON) It is a really fun, upbeat video. The creator is one of my favorite editors out there, so I loved seeing this video from her. She put some amazing effects in there as well.
