Monday is coming up and if you are trying to get your inspiration out on this dreaded day, may I suggest you to watch this inspiring movie. The Blind Side is a true story about a young African-American who got adopted to a wealthy southern white family and became one of the greatest Offensive Tackle in the NFL league.
Growing up in a hard conditioned environment, Michael Oher changes schools about 9 times in the past 11 years. Michael Oher lives in an impoverished neighbourhood full of violence and crime. His life changes when he went to the Briarcrest Christian School.
If you are a rugby fan or maybe just a person who happens to love inspiring story like I do, The Blind Side offers no ending moments of human kindness. This type of film is the kind of film that will cry your eyes out, even me which I thought I would be tough enough to handle this kind of film.
Believe me when I say that this film will restore your faith in humanity. This film is the very definition of beating the odds.
It’s been a while, and since I’ve got some free time. Here’s a game review!
Giant Robots. One-on-one beam saber action. Macross Missile Massacre ™. The only thing that would make this game better would be online multi-player capability. Oh yeah, it has that too. This free Gundam clone offers surprisingly addicting gameplay and lets you indulge that fantasy you’ve always had ever since you saw your first Gundam anime. 3-D arenas pitting teams of mecha against each other makes the gameplay just like the Gundam Arcade game in Japan, which is similar to Armored Core and Virtual On, but you don’t have to blow 100 yen each time you want to play.
I just tried it last night, and it was AWESOME!
Though the some people thinks the names are hilarious, which is somewhat not. But I guess they named it after OS/Operating system. (Windom XP=Windows XP, Linux, etc…)
The game has awesome graphics and effects. But you’ll be needing a good graphics card if you want to play this game without any problems…
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* OS: Windows XP/Vista
* CPU: Pentium 4 1.4 GHz or better.
* Memory: 512MB or better (XP), 1GB or better (Vista).
* Graphics: 64 MB of VRAM or better.
* A graphics card that supports DirectX9.0c or greater. GeForce or Radeon graphics card recommended. Anything other than the items listed above may result in noticeable slowdown.
* Sound: A soundcard that supports DirectX8 or greater.
* Software: The latest version of DirectX.
* .NET Framework 2.0 or greater.

It’s rather rare for me to give out a film review about three moview but I guess the first movie is so awesome which remains awesome on its sequels. I just watched three films of Undisputed last night and boy, that is the most manliest film with of course a little bit of cute scene just to make your day a little bit better. I really recommend watching this film after you watched some pussy-ass film that your girlfriend ask you to watch with such as Twilight. You just have to rinse that pain off and firm your sexuality again by watching this film.
Now, just like my previous reviews, spoilers warning to you who don’t want any leak about this film. I’ll just say if you love Crows;Zero or any fighting kind of film, then Undisputed should be the film that is in your list to watch. For the rest of you, continue on reading.
Undisputed is a film about the story of prison fighters that wants to make it to the top. What’s brilliant about this film is that the villain in this film will encounter a humbling experience against their opponent to be later be the main protagonist of the sequel. For example, in Undisputed, George “Iceman” Chambers is a bigshot heavyweight boxing champion who got jailed because of convicted rape. He is such an arrogant dude to be later defeated by Monroe Hutchens (Oops, there goes the spoiler) to ruin his perfect 68-0 win.
Now, after that in Undisputed II, George Chambers becomes the main protagonist which was wrongly accussed of smuggling drugs when he take a trip to Russia. In Undisputed II, George Chambers is nothing but arrogant. Yeah sure, his head is still hot but at least the fight that he picks usually because of trying to save someone.
Now about the action content of this film. This film is packed with lots of fight scene. It’s the prison, so what were you expecting? Plus, there is also illegal tournament in there which makes it more interesting. People who love watching other people trading blows, you are in for a great movie watching experience.
However, there is a little hint of sweetness in this movie. Remember that this movie’s main story is about an arrogant ass getting a humbling experience? Well, to every film of Undisputed there is a certain level of sincerity and sportmanship. You can see friendship or mentorship playing in the role of the characters. You can say watching Undisputed is like watching a journey of a fighter becoming great and kind at the same time.
I’m sorry for slacking a loy this month, I’m just not in the mood to do anything, not even play my newest games. So, once again I’ll be back talking about the olden games. Today, I’m going to talk about a wacky game called Team Buddies.
Team Buddies was developed by Psygnosis Camden Studio (now SCE Studio Soho), and was released for the Playstation by on September 18, 2000 by Midway Games.
Team Buddies is a wacky build your army type of game, where your main activity is build weapons to make your team stronger and more effective in the battle. In Team Buddies there is also a multiplayer for up to 4 players in splitscreen, and there are many modes for it.
There’s a slight difference between the EU release and the American release. In the EU release each team color will have a different kind of nation representing it, and the voices from each country are made as stereotypical as it can be. for example, If you choose the Blue Team, it will consist of British accents characters, Yellow is French and Red is Scottish. In the American release every team speaks with normal American language regardless of the color you choose for your team
During it’s initial Team Buddies wasn’t commercially successful, it was never popular to begin with and resulting in very limited production. But the game had it’s own cult following to spread out the word, and today do to it’s rarity one copy of the game go up over than $200, making it own of the most expensive and rare PlayStation games. Currently it hasn’t received any kind of new console port, making it much more rarer.
We have debated for a long time now if Son Goku from Dragon Ball were to fight Superman, who will won the fight? Well fellas, the discussion is over and you can watch this insight of the epic battle between the super saiyan and the man of steel. They made a detail analysis of this battle which will lead to a conclusion who will won the battle.
Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman, is one of the newest anime series to be aired this season. It’s currently being animated by TMS Entertainment. Roman is also an adaptation, but what makes it unique is the fact that it was originally adapted from a series of pachinko machines. It is based CR Ginroku Gijinden Roman pachinko game, with original character designs by Lupin III creator Monkey Punch. The Script is written by Tatsuto Higuchi and directed by Hirofumi Ogura.
Synopsis
The stage is the close of the Edo period, an age when, not unlike our own time, both natural and man-made disasters left chaos in their wake. Manjiro makes a living helping the people of the troubled capital city, but behind the scenes, he also works in secret to take back precious belongings stolen from the people by unjust political powers and conspiratorial menaces. The people call him “Get-backer Roman.”
One of the newest anime this season is the “unique” Love Live! School Project. Initially it was Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki G’s Magazine, music label Lantis and anime studio Sunrise. Launched in August 2010, it went on to produce music CDs, anime music videos and a manga adaptation. Currently the project has 5 singles including 5 anime music videos. For this season it’s now a regular anime TV series handled by Sunrise. This project revolves around a group of fictional school girls who become idols to save their school from shutting down.
The next new season anime I’m going to point out is Kotoura-San. Kotoura-san is an adaptation of a 4-Koma (4 panel) manga that is being serialized in Micro Magazine’s Manga Goccha magazine. This adaptation is being done by AIC Classic and is being slated for 12 episodes.
Synopsis
A school love comedy. Kotoura Haruka is a 15-year-old girl who can read people’s minds. She has been suffering from troubles caused by her mind-reading ability, and her parents got divorced as a result. She moves to a new high school but tries to keep away from her classmates. Manabe Yoshihisa, one of her classmates, accepts and appreciates her ability and she begins to interact with her friends with his help.

Continuing my highlights is the ever long running series “Sakura Wars”. This series has been running strongly from 1996, followed by a large number of games, anime adaptations and even movies based on it. As a series, it still holds Concerts for it’s a fan and their main song “Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan” has been sung and remade in different versions along the years. So, prepare for a long series highlight, because it has 5 Main series from the franchise.
Sakura Wars was first released for the Sega Saturn in September 26, 1996. It was developed and owned by SEGA and licensed by Red Entertainment , it’s idea was created by Ouji Hiroi. Sakura Wars was major hit for the Sega Saturn, this large popularity made it received a 4 episode OVA Sakura Taisen: Ouka Kenran, which is a basic retelling of the events from the game itself and in April 8, 2000 it receives and TV series adaptation. Being a major success it will then spawn 4 more direct sequels, this is not including game spin-offs. It also receives many ports including the Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2, PSP and the PC.
The main theme that goes on in Sakura Wars is the most basic theme in any video game, a group of gifted people have to fight an evil organization that threatens to destroy the world. In this case, the group of gifted people are mostly females that have incredible psychic powers. Sakura Wars also uses “Steampunk” as its main world theme.
Galaxy Angel Eternal Lovers is the third and the last part in the series. Also developed by BROCCOLI was released in August 20, 2004. It was first released for the PC and then followed by a PlayStation 2 port in February 24, 2005. As the last part in the series, besides being a direct continuation of the previous title, Moonlit Lovers, the last part makes sure to give proper closure to each routes of the story.
In this part, the VN will really focus on the relationship of Takuto and the members of the Galaxy Angel. The story itself was designed to be a test for each couple.
Story
The war with the Val-Fasq begins in earnest while a couple of refugees from the legendary EDEN (the place origin of both the White Moon and Black Moon) arrive to beg the Transbaal Empire (and the legendary hero Takuto Meyers) for help. Takuto and his Angel’s relationship is also put into serious jeopardy as his duties preparing for the war with the Val-Fasq keep them apart with increasing frequency. (Wikipedia)
As promised, today I’m going talk about the direct sequel of the first Galaxy Angel game, which is Galaxy Angel Moonlit Lovers.
The 2nd game of the Galaxy Angel, Moonlit Lovers was also developed by BROCCOLI. It was release first for the PC in August 21, 2003. The game itself received a console port for the PS2 in February 26, 2004 and in this edition they’ve made Chitose also has her own story which she has not in the original PC game, but they’ve also released a patch for the PC. The game is still using the same gameplay and style as it’s predecessor, but the main difference with this sequel is the introduction of a new character, Karasuma Chitose the new and 6th member of the Galaxy Angel. You might remember her in the 4th Season of the anime series, as the sickly, vengeful and self-imagined ostracism of one of the members of the Twin Star Team. But she has a drastically different personality in the game, She’s a traditional, polite, and soft-spoken young woman. Chitose joined the military for two reasons; for her respect and admiration for both her father and the Galaxy Angel. Besides, the introduction of a new heroine they also introduced a new villain .
Yeah, Sorry that I haven’t posted anything lately, been experiencing some wacky mood swings and it affected most of my IRL stuff. Today I’m going to talk about one wholes series that for the ones who don’t know might shock them a bit due to the bizarrely different themes served by 2 different medias and it’s the Galaxy Angel Series.
Galaxy Angel, is the first game from it’s series. It was developed by BROCOLLI and was released first for the PC in August 23, 2002. The game itself is basically a Love Adventure combined with a RTS Spaceship battle, where you can command all the “Emblem Frames” Piloted by the Angel Troupe. Later in April 17, 2003 it receives a PS2 port. It then ultimately received an anime adaptation in April 7, 2001, but wait the release year it’s contradicting itself? The truth is the development for the game got delayed and they first released the mange adaptation of the game in 2001, then they did a loose comedic adaptation for the anime. So, the game is the root for every adaptation known in the industry. In fact because the anime went first, and it was a popular hit, it then overshadows the game and the manga itself, in which resulted expected the game and the manga to be “the same” with the anime when they don’t realize that the anime was a spin-off adaptation.
Before I start talking about this VN, I just want to say that I never played the first 3 Tokimeki VNs. It’s because Those 3 existed way before my Otaku self was awakened and the fact that the first 3 of the series is hard to find other than searching the PSX roms. So, i’m just gonna talk about the 1st Tokimeki VN that I played.
Tokimeki Memorial 4, as its name implies is the 4th game of the famous dating sim series “Tokimeki Memorial. It’s developed by KONAMI and released exclusively for the PSP on December 9th, 2009. This game also celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the Tokimeki series. This is the the newest main Tokimeki series, after Konami has been focusing on the “Girl’s Side Tokimeki” for the Nintendo DS. Tokimeki Memorial 4 also goes back to the roots of it’s original, by returning back to the same school from the first series and the coming back of the Legendary Tree, which has been parodied in many animes and mangas. The Special 15th Anniversary limited package aslo comes with an OVA, which is more of an introductory episode that introduces all the main heroines of the game.
Story
The Main story (goal) of this VN is simple get one of the heroines to confess her love to you under the Legendary Tree, which has said that to bring eternal happiness to the couples. But before that you must try to get close to one of the heroines and get to know them better. The Tokimeki series has always been a pure dating simulation series, in this case there’s no “closed heroine routes” and you can approach any heroines in any way you like, but since it’s a pure dating sim, each girl has their own criteria and prerequisite before finally reaching your goal. In this game you also need to build your character status. These status will be those criteria that is needed to get the heroines to be interested in talking to you. After you get close to one heroine, she will start opening herself to you, and their main heroine story will start.
Just a reminder and for those who are still new to this site. My “First Look” corner talks about new anime series currently airing that is worthy to watch and in this I’ll be talking a few points in the first episodes. So let’s begin:
Psycho-Pass, is a new original anime series produced Production I.G. Initially it was a called “Gen Urobuchi’s secret anime project”, so it’s obvious that this is written by the same guy who did “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” and “Fate/Zero“. Psycho-Pass starteed airing on October 11 2012, and on it’s 4th episode with 22 episodes in total confirmed.
Synopsis
In the near future it is possible to instantaneously measure a person’s mental state, personality, and the probability that a person will commit crimes with a device installed on each citizen’s body called the Psycho-Pass. When this probability, measured by the “Crime Coefficient” index, is too high in some individuals those individuals are pursued and apprehended — with lethal force, if necessary. This task is performed by a special team of potential criminals called Enforcers, who are supervised by police officers known as Inspectors; the Inspectors ensure that Enforcers perform their duties within the constraints of the law. Enforcers and Inspectors employ special weapons called “Dominators” that are designed to fire only on those with a higher than normal Crime Coefficient. The story follows Unit 1 of the Public Safety Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Division. (Wikipedia)
