Hello and welcome to the Game section! This page is moderated by Sylphharpoon so it’s a little bit different from the page that is usually moderated by Sou-chan. In this page, I will bring you my collection of doujin games that I could find in my computer as well as a short review about it to get you to know what game you are currently playing.
The list will be divided into game genre so you can browse your favorite game genre to play to. Information to other authors, this page doesn’t mean that only Sylphharpoon can post doujin games into this page. Other authors are always welcome to contribute in this page as well. Just note that Sou-chan has already set a rule that this page is dedicated to game downloading. All post that contains only review of the game will be considered into the Omake section.
Please always consider to buy the game eventhough there is a download link provided in this blog. I will try to link the games to the official website so you know how to buy it. Think of it as a future investment for you to get another sequel for the game you like. Most of the doujin games aren’t expensive, so if you think that the game you are playing is really good, give your appreciation by buying the game from the official website. For that, I really thank you for supporting the doujin game industry.
Using CD Image File Reader Software (Explanation from kazasou)
Sometimes, the games listed in this post come up with ISO, BIN, NRG, IMG, and any other type of CD image file. If you encounter this type of file, you have two options which are first, you can buy a blank CD and burn the CD image using CD burning tools such as Nero. Second, you can use a virtual CD/ DVD to mount your CD image file. I prefer the second option since it is economical. You can get a MagicISO CD/DVD manager on this link: http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm. All you have to do after installing the software is just right click on the MagicISO icon on the taskbar (Bottom right), and click Virtual CD/DVD ROM > D: No Media >Mount and mount the CD image file. Once done, you can browse the file in the CD using your Windows Explorer (by clicking the D:\)
The game listed in this page are PC games and works on Windows platform. Since the games mostly come from Japan, you have to set your computer to support Unicode (or Japanese character set). Here’s what you have to do (This instruction is done using Windows 7 platform):
- Go to the Control Panel and click Clock, Language, and Region
- Click Region & Language
- Go to the Administrative tab and click on the Change System Locale
- In the System Locale, change the current system locale to Japanese
