And of course, there is a wallpaper pack to accompany the previous Vocaloid wallpaper pack. And like always, here is your Touhou wallpaper pack. Enjoy, lads!
And also, Touhou Google Chrome theme series has not been added so I guess it’s time for an addition to that series. This is a rendition of Alice: Adventure of Touhouland version of Touhou so I guess it goes well with dark purple.
So as I promised here is the second wallpaper pack of the week featuring Touhou characters. I’m also thinking that I will be posting a lot more wallpaper packs next week since probably I will be taking my day off after so long.
WARNING: There is some blood in this one, but nothing that will scar you for life. Well………Maybe.
This one was made by the lovely Layra. This one has to be one of my all time favorite videos, mainly because the clips actual MATCH the lyrics. Perfectly!! I have not actually seen Umineko yet, but i’m working on it. I just finished watching Higurashi season 1, and downloaded the episodes for Kai. The song is the ever famous Vocaloid, yet not Vocaloid, song “Alice of Human Sacrifice” And, unless you can understand Japanese, make sure to have subtitles on, or the video wont make any sense.
Well, I’m off to summer camp, so I wont be able to post untill next Monday-ish. See ya then!!
And happy birthday to another author of Randomness Thing, Night. I was not sure what kind of post I should write for this occasion but I hope you don’t mind clumping with a wallpaper pack post. So again, happy birthday to you and wish you all the happiness and joy in life.
I really am saving money for buying this game just because the blood and gore in this kid’s story inspired game. So, after the first game, Alice returns with more vengence to save the wonderland once again. If you don’t know the plot of this game, you must have not heard about Alice in Wonderland.
Now, this game is about alternate retelling of Alice in Wonderland. We know that wonderland is Alice’s escape world of her imagination. In the first game, the story ends with Alice being sent to Rutledge’s Insane Asylum after alledgely killing her parents (at least that’s what her psychosis is about).
11 years later, Alice moves to Victorian London to get psychiatric theraphy. Although she seems a little bit stable after 11 years, her repressed memories of her parents death came back to haunt her. Once again, Alice tried to escape from reality and seek refuge to wonderland which doesn’t help because of her verge of insanity has made Wonderland chaotic and twisted.
She now must try to defend her survival in the nightmare of her own imagination. A note of the gameplay, it improves dramatically in terms of amount of blood and gore and the excitements of controlling Alice’s combo move. I’m definitely going to grab on this game once it has been available to be purchased.
I guess for this week, another Koumajou Densetsu series wallpaper will be filling up my desktop. I’ve tried to get a grab on to the game (thanks Sylph-chan), but I guess I’m very bad at this type of game (actually, I suck at gaming tee-hee). Anyway, have a great day and I have to go to bed again (just woke up to get a glass of water ~0~)
Just as I promised, the wallpaper pack batch for Touhou is here. I’m trying so hard to squeeze my time to send these wallpaper packs so I hope I don’t mispicked the wallpaper quality here. Enjoy everyone!
A special skin of Touhou featuring Alice Margatroid. And here in the previous I was saying that I will make a variative Google Chrome Theme which will not heavily focus on Touhou. Anyway, how could you pass on such a great picture not to make it to Google Chrome theme. That will be a huge sin, Ladies and Gentlemen!
Right, one Rainmeter I managed to get into this week (Damn, my busy week). It seems my spare time was just too little. Anyway, I realized that I haven’t created a Touhou series Rainmeter skins for a long time, so I guess I start it again with Alice Margatroid. Enjoy.
An additional Touhou Wallpaper Pack to fill the long overdue post without Touhou Wallpaper Pack. As usual, I got this from Konachan in complementing Kaza-kun’s request. Seems there is no complain on the previous wallpaper pack so I hope I don’t screw up this time.
It’s time for another wallpaper pack on the dock and another Touhou series. I collect this two days ago and keep forgetting to upload it. So, without further a do, please enjoy the wallpapers.
Alright, time for another wallpaper pack I guess since I haven’t come up with a new one for ages (and also it’s a slow day and I got nothing to do in the office. So, another Touhou wallpaper pack on the dock and this makes it the seventh wallpaper pack of Touhou. Do enjoy guys!
Behold! I have finally returned with a new post. I would have put this up sooner but I just started my new job and it’s been murder on my schedule lately.
Today’s post is one that I have long been awaiting. It Touhou 10.5 Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, one of the handful of fighting games which was co-produced by Tasogare Frontier. This also has one of my favorite title themes, second only to the patch later released for this game which is another game in itself.
The plot to this game is a standard incident in the world of Gensokyo but it plays out differently depending on which character is chosen, and there are a lot of playable characters, including two new ones to the Touhou universe. The weather lately has been highly unusual and never stays the same for more than a while at a time. It can be sunny one minute, rainy the next, and then hail a little later or something along those lines. This causes several residents of Gensokyo to act and try to solve the incident. Reimu’s case is especially vengeful as her shrine has been destroyed by a highly localized but very strong earthquake that effected only her shrine and nothing else. Depending on which character is chosen the characters that you fight along the way change, but the last three are always the same.
Somewhere along the line the heroine deduces that the problem lies in the heavens where the celestials live. The only way to get there though is to climb the tengu’s mountain and Aya Shameimaru isn’t too inclined to let anyone trespass upon her territory. After trumping Aya and making her way into the clouds it is there that the messenger of the gods, Iku Nagae is encountered. She issues a warning that there will be a massive earthquake that threatens to destroy most if not all of Gensokyo. Assuming that the problem is Iku our heroine beats her down but finds she is not the problem and that the real solution lies higher up. A small ways further Tenshi Hinanai is encountered and found to be the root of all the problems. She has been gathering energy from the hearts of everyone in Gensokyo which has been causing the strange weather, but her real goal is to create a large earthquake. Why? She simply wanted to enjoy fighting with the residents of Gensokyo like she has observed everyone else doing down on the ground. She is taken down and the problem is resolved.
Enough about the story, now on to the game mechanics. There are two main types of attacks that can be done. Physical attacks and two different branches of ranged attacks, weak and strong ones. Dashes can be executed to graze past projectiles. There is still a spell card system put in place, though it is more in depth. The more powerful a spell is the more cards are needed to use it. A deck can also be customized to have different cards in it, though it is limited to 20 maximum. The music in the game is good but not great. There are at least 7 tracks that are basically the same but just slightly remixed from the original and will tend to get on your nerves as it did mine. All in all it’s a great game. I’ll leave you off with a list of playable characters and will pick up with Subterranean Animism at a later date.
This is going to be a fairly short post as the game has a very simple story which changes based on what character is picked for the storyline. Also, the title theme for this game was remixed and used as the character select screen music in another fighting game, and one of my favorite games.
Immaterial and Missing power is a fighting game which is slanted heavily towards projectile based attacks, as are the other 2 fighting games. This specific game and the other fighting games are produced by both ZUN and Tasogare Frontier. Tasogare Frontier is composed of a group of people who do absolutely amazing work and have a few of their own games. For the Touhou fighters they did the visuals and performed the music that was composed by ZUN. Because this game took place in between two of the major Touhou games, Touhou 7 and Touhou 8, this has been numbered 7.5.
Immaterial and Missing Power starts with a strong mist that’s spreading across Gensokyo. The game takes place 3 days before a major feast at the Hakurei Shrine and interrupts Reimu’s preperations. She and several other residents of Gensokyo set out to investigate. Playable characters are as follow:
Hakurei Reimu
Sakuya Izayoi
Marisa Kirisame
Patchouli Knowledge
Alice Margatroid
Youmu Konpaku
Yuyuko Saigyouji
Remilia Scarlet
Yukari Yakumo
Hong Meiling
Suika Ibuki
Suika is a new character to the Touhou series and is an Oni. According to legend, all oni had disappeared long ago. Suika has decided to reunite the humans and the oni by attracting them to parties. The drunker Suika gets, the stronger she becomes. Furthermore she carries an oni treasure with her; a gourd that contains a limitless supply of sake.
Of all the Touhou fighting games I played, this was not one of them. However, if it’s remotely as good as the other fighters I can say that it’s a spectacular game.
