Beat of The Day: Don’t Cry Anymore by Miwa

Everytime I hear this singer’s voice, I suddenly reminded of Yui. The same resemblance of voice power, guitarist, and a brilliant energetic song. Miwa is another embodiment of those typical street performer in Japan (And it’s a good thing).

I love this kind of music genre since the era of Do As Infinity (Sadly, they have disbanded). And therefore, I’m very fond of Miwa’s songs especially this one which has the theme of never giving up when things are in crisis.

The song is very energetic and I never fed up listening to it. I just hope that she does a stellar job when it comes to performing live. Yui has the weakness of doing a poor live performance which her voice seems to crumble and pitchy.

Anyway, enjoy her brilliant song and keep a positive thinking guys whenever problems occur (Haha, me and my cliche quote).

Beat of The Day: Katayoku no Tori by Akiko Shikata

One of the best anime opening I’ve ever heard comes from the anime Umineko no Naku Koro ni. This song has a huge orchestra atmosphere which is much similar like Final Fantasy: Advent Children theme song. I got to say that the latin back vocal is very overwhelming and it gives you the rush in hearing this song.

Akito Shikata’s voice is also very fitting in this song since she has that high pitch voice which make this song has an orchestral vibe in it. So you can say that this theme song combine orchestra, hymns, and rock which made this song a very powerful song and overwhelming.

I’ve listened to this song over and over again and I always got fired up everytime I chanted the latin lyrics. This song also is very fitting to the anime. As for your information, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, the anime whom this opening song belong to, has a royalty theme in it. So I guess the atmosphere of this song can tell you how the anime is all about.

Anyway, this song is an impressive music to hear with an additional of great anime plot story accompanied with it.

Desktop Goodies: Shannon Rainmeter

Come to think about it, I haven’t done any Umineko Naku no Koro ni Rainmeter skin series yet, so I guess I’ll start with Shannon, one of the cutey which unfortunately doesn’t get a long chance in the anime. I got to say that I like Umineko better than Higurashi, despite HIgurashi has a lot more gore scene. However, Umineko is little lighter subject and has many eye candies there (Haha, there goes my fetish). Anyway, enjoy this skin I’ve created for you.
