Okay, this is another Touhou Wallpaper Pack since I like the amount of Vocaloid and Touhou Wallpaper Pack to be evenly distributed. I guess I have to go to sleep early since I have so much work to do in the previous days. Sigh, such a boring life eventhough you are busy enough to occupy yourself.
Alright, time for another Touhou Google Chrome Theme on the dock. I should’ve done my project for the university but I guess I’m too lazy. Maybe I’ll do it one day before deadline, haha. Enjoy the Chrome theme pack guys!
It’s time for another wallpaper pack and I come with another Touhou series wallpaper pack. I thank Kaza-kun for uploading the pictures on hi blog since Kaza-kun suggested that Randomness Thing file quota is nearly full. So, he lended his blog space for the pictures to be uploaded. So, here you are guys!
And what would be fitting for the Vocaloid Google Chrome Theme with a Touhou Google Chrome Theme as an alternative. Also, in contrast to the black dark theme in Vocaloid Google Chrome Theme, I set Touhou theme to be a bloody red with a spooky header (hehehe). Do enjoy, guys!
Right, a long overdue request from Kesuki which I’ve nearly forgotten about. Finally I have found the fitting picture to make her Rainmeter skin. Today, I’m preparing my stuff for my vacation and checking in my baggage to the travel agency. I hope I still can do some Rainmeter skins requests before I go to UAE. Cheers!
It’s been a while since the last Google chrome theme and I think I’ll post another Touhou theme but introducing the main characters of the series. For those who requested Rainmeter skins, don’t worry, I’m still working on it intermittently with Darkside Rebirth project. So for now, enjoy the skin I created here.
BEHOLD! I… have RETURNED! It’s been awhile since I’ve made a new addition to this series. I introduce to you all my favorite game in the series. Touhou Hisoutensoku is a joint production between Team Shanghai Alice and Tasogare Frontier. If you want to see the gameplay to this just look up Scarlet Weather Rhapsody from earlier. Why? Because Hisoutensoku is pretty much an expansion to SWR. It added several new characters while keeping the old ones and even making a few changes in their move sets. It keeps all the old data from SWR if they are linked properly.
Hisoutensoku added several characters into the fighting mash-up. Hong Meiling, Sanae Kochiya, Cirno, Rieiji Utsuho, and Suwako Moriya. Each character is different but Suwako is by far the hardest character to use out of all of them.
The story is very different from SWR and allows only the new characters to be playable through the storyline. A giant shadow has been seen in several areas all throughout Gensokyo by several residents. Each of them set out to discover what exactly it is and what it’s purpose is. Each character fights their way through several opponents before arriving at an underground nuclear reactor where Rieiji resides. An epic and extremely difficult battle ensues. Upon defeat Suwako makes herself known and identifies herself as the cause. She says something about the giant shadow actually being a robot that has wandered off away from the reactor. It is never actually found through the game, although Meiling gets to fight a giant catfish.
This was a really easy post for me to make because it has all the same controls and elements that SWR did so that saved me a lot of time. The reason that it took so long to get another post up is that I just recently started working again and I’m still trying to straighten out a whole bunch of stupid college and loan shit and it’s driving me crazy. I apologize if anyone is offended by what I said but I am really frustrated. I’ll try to get the last game post up as soon as I can but I can’t really make any promises. I will get it up some time though.
For you who have been waiting for a dark-themed Google Chrome theme then here it is. Better yet, it’s from Touhou series so it is a perfect for you guys, Touhou fans. However, I only include some portion of Touhou characters so who might know that there will be a continuation series of Touhou-themed Google Chrome theme. Enjoy, guys!
Whats this we have here? A post? I daresay it has been quite a while since I’ve last made a post. There have just been too many things to do that I really don’t want to do. I still have yet to fill out my only college application and I haven’t even tried to find a new job yet. Things just got really real on me really quick so please try and cut me a little slack.
Today’s long overdue post is on Touhou 12: Undefined Fantastic Object. It features some old game elements, a few new ones, and three playable characters; Hakurei Reimu, Marisa Kirisame, and Sanae Kochiya. It’s been well over a months since I played the game so my review will be a bit sloppy and I’ll probably have to resort to the Touhou Wiki again, though I try not to.
This game, unlike the previous ones, reintroduced the old bomb system of a set amount of bombs, which I like very much. A new twist on this game is the UFOs that certain enemies drop upon destruction. There are three different colored UFOs that the player can pick up and depending on which ones are picked up different enemy UFOs will appear that the player can destroy for either points, bombs, or life fragments. The system is easy enough to abuse with a little patience. I managed to scrounge up well over ten bombs with this system but I don’t use them very much with the way I play.
Rumors have been circulating around Gensokyo of a mysterious flying treasure ship. Each of the three girls have their own reasons for going off to find it. Marisa for treasure, Sanae to learn how to hunt Youkai, and Reimu for being Reimu.
The first confrontation in the pursuit of the flying treasure ship is Nazrin who came from the flying object yet denies its existence. She is also looking for some sort of pagoda that houses a great deal of power. Nazrin also happens to be one of my favorite characters because of her theme and the fact that she is unique in being a mouse Youkai.
The next obstacle is Kogasa Tatara whose goal is nothing more than to frighten or surprise people. Unfortunately for her she picked the wrong Youkai hunters to try and surprise.
Upon catching up to the ship the girls are intercepted by Ichirin Kumoi and her familiar Unzan who resembles an angry and old reddish pink cloud. Ichirin states that she is trying to revive a certain somone and that the UFOs the girls have been collecting are vital to her goal and a battle ensues.
Inside the ship the girls encounter the captain of the ghostly ship, Murasa Minamitsu who is my other favorite character from this game also from her theme and the fact that she is total badassery. Murasa tells the girls that the ship is bound for Hokkai and that it is a one way trip. The fact that the girls have collected so many UFOs which power ship causes the ship to already begin its path towards Hokkai.
Before very long, just outside Hokkai, the player runs into Nazrin again, who has found what she was looking for – the Bishamonten pagoda. After defeating her a second time, Shou Toramaru appears. Now that both the pagoda and the fragments are together, the revival can begin. Shou tells the player that they are trying to revive a “saint” who has been sealed for many years – a person who helped both humans and youkai, and was punished because of it. After defeating Shou, the player opts to help revive this person, since they’re already there and everything.
The final confrontation occurs deep within Hokkai where Byakuren Hijiri has been unsealed. The player’s job is to exterminate youkai(or, in Marisa’s case, to prioritize protecting humans), so Byakuren disagrees – she is an ally to both, and treats both equally. The player defeats Byakuren in a long battle, and the story ends on peaceful terms, as she and Murasa cruise around Gensokyo in the ship for a while before settling down and rebuilding Byakuren’s original temple.
However, the mystery of the UFOs hasn’t yet been solved. Marisa discovers that upon opening one of them, a snake comes out and the UFO turns into a piece of wood. The girls take off once again into the night sky to figure out what’s going on. Kogasa reappears in the process, again attempting to surprise the player. After that, the strange flying object appears again and transforms into a youkai named Nue Houjuu, who was the one that disguised the fragments. Apparently the player was the only one who saw the UFOs as UFOs – the enemies the player fought against knew that they were actually pieces of the ship. After defeating her, she explains that she was originally just trying to mess with Murasa’s efforts to revive Byakuren, but the player caught her interest, so she ended up helping the player out too.
I never actually managed to beat the original storyline without a continue, though I only played through it once. Byakuren killed me. Lasers with bad hit detection are not my friend, especially when they arc around in strange patterns. All in all a good game. The next post should follow shortly unless other things come up. I happen to be well versed in the next game as I have played it extensively. Until next time.
If anyone knows a way to add in sound files directly from the computer into the post, please let me know.
On to the main topic though, the new post. The next game in the series is Touhou Fuujinroku – Mountain of Faith, and yes I memorized the romanji names for the Touhou games.
After playing through this the first time I noticed that it was really easy compared to the rest, especially Perfect Cherry Blossom. There are also a handful of changes that were made to this game, most of which I didn’t like too much. The first one is the Bomb system which doesn’t have bombs anymore. Instead you can use a “bomb” at the cost of one power level. The bombs don’t even clear off all the bullets and only lasts for a few seconds compared to ones from older games which could last somewhere around a dozen or so seconds. The second change is the way the character shoots and how they power up. Instead of adding more bullets, you get “options” which are little orbs or some such that will stay near your character and shoot depending on the mode chosen. Options are limited to 4. There are only 2 characters as well, Marisa and Reimu.
Now for the story. Faith in Gensokyo is ever decreasing and Reimu isn’t too pleased about it. In an effort to find an answer she departs for the Youkai Mountain. The first obstacle encountered is the Aki Sisters, Shizuha and Minoriko, who are the gods of harvest. They warn Reimu of the dangers ahead, but are ignored and beat down because Reimu is Reimu. A little further along the way she meets Hina Kagiyama who has complete control of misfortune and for some reason is usually seen spinning. She also issues Reimu a warning and attempts to chase her off but is beat down instead. As our heroine presses onward she happens to stumble upon everyone’s favorite inventive kappa, Nitori Kawashiro. Again, a warning is issued but is completely ignored and a beatdown ensues. Nitori submits and points her upstream towards a waterfall. After encountering and smacking Inubashiri Momiji up a bit Aya Shameimaru joins in for a little fun. She was sent to investigate by the tengu society but also falls victim to Reimu.
Reimu proceeds onwards to the Moriya shrine which was set up only recently. It was brought from the outside world along with a lake. Sanae Kochiya, the rival shrine maiden, swore to collect all the faith in Gensokyo for her god, Yasaka Kanako. Sanae puts up a strong fight but stands no chance. Reimu moves around to the back of the shrine where the lake is and meets with Kanako and demands she cease her actions at once. She, of course, declines and a maginificent battles commences. She eventually falls as well, without surprise.
After carrying about her days as usual, sweeping and sipping tea, rumor spreads to Reimu that there is another god at the Moriya Shrine. Reimu again sets out to see if this is true. Kanako intercepts her again and tries to chase her off to no avail. Upon reaching the inner sanctum of the shrine they find Suwako Moriya. She demands that Reimu play with her the same way she did with Sanae and Kanako – with danmaku.
All in all, I have to say it’s decent but I much prefer the other games, even Phantasmagoria of Flower View. The next post will be much better and is the first game I ever owned from the Touhou series. Touhou 10.5 – Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. I’ll have that up in the next few days.
Alright, another wallpaper pack for you. I actually had already prepare this 3 days ago, but as you all know my home internet connection is as slow as a snail. So, I have to use the office internet connection for this. Anyway, enjoy the wallpaper pack I’ve created for you.

So, since Touhou is quite popular in my downloadable goodies in my blog, I decided to pick wallpaper pack for this doujin series. Anyway, just watche G.I. Joe and it’s a great action movie. It has a quite plain story and easily predicted, though. Anyway, enjoy Touhou wallpapers that I’ve personally picked for your enjoyment.
Hey, today I’m going to give you another wallpaper pack that I personally selected. So, for today’s wallpaper pack, I’m going with miko girl, which you might know is girls wearing Shinto uniform. As you might know, I love cute girls which also reveal her cool and tough side in the same time and I hope you also get the vibe with the wallpaper pack I set up. Anyway, without much far a do, enjoy these wallpapers and have a nice weekend, guys.
