GUMI Extend: Demo song

For the ones, who never listened to GUMI Extend, here is the song Instellar Flight. In this demo song all the GUMI Extend voices (ORIGINAL, POWER, WHISPER, SWEET, ADULT) will be played. On GUMI’s second birthday, NicoNama revealed this live. Her voice provider is Megumi Nakajima. They are still playing with her voice, so it will change some bit! The new Extend will add another vocal expression to the original voice bank. GUMI has another breathe sound and  her pronunciations will improve & become clearer. GUMI Extend will have the same properties as the Crypton Vocaloid Appends. The voicebank will be released for Vocaloid 2 but it will get a Vocaloid 3 version when it is released!

I love her Power Version! It’s ever better than Miku, Rin & Len Append! (Mm, maybe almost better than Rin & Len ^3^/) I can’t wait for more full GUMI Extend songs!

Anime Spring List 2010

Late post as always (Should’ve done this a few weeks before). After a disaster season of winter anime broadcasting (Yeah, I’m saying this to you, Seikon no Qwaser), this spring I get a relief of a wave of worth-watched anime.

This season, I’ll be looking forward to three titles which two of them I kinda gamble on the quality (I only judge it based on the synopsis I read). Of course, the first priority would be K-ON second season. After the success of season one with epic moe, I really am looking forward to watch those girl again. Of course, I kinda ticked of by the appearance of Azusa Nakano (Hey, we don’t need two tsundere in one anime). But besides that, K-ON is just magnificent to watch.

The other two are Senko no Night Raid and Hakuoki: Shinsengumi no Kitan. It’s about war and setted in the past, so history and anime really goes well together I think. Plus, I really am looking forward to looking a Shinsengumi themed anime (I hope it’s not yaoi, or I’ll drop this instantly^^).

As for the comedy, I still relying on Hetalia Axis Power to stir my stomach up. Yutori-chan is also hilarious for a 5 minutes clip anime. It’s about a part-timer girl who works in an office and joke is about work stuff with moderate moe scene. The rest of them will be Ookiku Furikabatte and Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou, but I’m pessimistic of the quality of the story here.

As for harem genre, I guess I can watch either Working! or Angel Beat, but I still keep neutral on this since the anime is neither bad or good (Especially Angel Beat which still blurry on the story plot. So, there you have it guys, my recommendation for spring 2010 upcoming anime. Additional input is appreciated, though.

Hetalia Axis Power — Studying World History Has Never Been This Fun

7-26-2009 11-39-36 PMYou know, I always hate history subject since there is a lot of memorization to do and I always suck at that particular subject. However, my view has a little bit change since I watched Hetalia Axis Power. Well, at least for the World War part.

If you haven’t watched Hetalia Axis Power, this anime is a personification of the World War history which is embeded in humans as the subject of the countries involves in it. So in other words, these anime tells us about Europe & America history, particularly in the World War era, by transforming countries into anime characters (literally). So you got the Axis and the Allied which are involved in the WWI. The character personification in this anime is uncanny. They use general stereotype to personify each country. So you got the strict Germany, the happy-go-lucky Italy, the charming France, and many more stereotypes that will make you laugh.

This anime is a 5 minutes span anime, so sometimes I can’t get enough of Hetalia Axis Power. So, if you guys are looking for a hilarious yet educating anime or maybe having difficulties in your WWI & WWII exams, this anime might be an aid for your thirst. I guess this anime is underrated given the unpopularity in the anime forum which quite a shame since this show is quite brilliant. Anyway, grab this anime guys. It’s a worth-watch.

Anime Summer List 2009

summer09animeIt’s a little bit late, but what the hell I post it anyway. Since it’s a new season where as it would be summer season’s anime, I thought I would post a list of animes that will be broadcasted during the summer period.

Okay, first thing in the dock is Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. What else should I say about this anime? Hilarious, intelligent, and twisted themes all packed in this hilarious comedy show. After watching the first season, Zoku, and Goku, I have a high hope for the sequel and it didn’t fail me one bit. It still a never-ending comedy anime with well-crafted hiperbolic reality exaggeration theme. So, make sure you watch this anime if you are a fan of intelligent comedy.

Next, keep an eye on two mytery theme animes. Umineko naku no koro ni and Bakemonogatari are the next shows for you, horror lovers. Well, Umineko naku no koro ni is a bit like Higurashi naku no koro ni except it’s a completely different story with different characters. The element of innocent child playing murderly intent character is still there, though. On the other hand, Bakemonogatari is a kind of grotesque horror flick, telling about humans who posses unnatural powers such as immortality. Bakemonogatari is a kind more of action genre with mystery theme combined, so I guess it will be a kind of fun wathing the show (Haven’t seen it yet, though).

Then, of course you have to watch Hetalia Axis Power 2. If you don’t know this anime, it’s about the World War but a retelling in a kind of comedic theme in it. I enjoyed the first season and it was hilarious. So, you might want to grab this anime when it started the broadcast. Also, keep an eye on Spice and Wolf II for you who fancy a slice of life and romance theme anime.

Last but not least, don’t miss Canaan. If you like Fate/ Stay Night, Shingetsutan  Tsukihime, & Kara no Kyoukai – Canaan is your next anime to watch. Canaan comes from the same production house as this animes, Type-Moon, so if you are a fan of their work, you might want to watch Canaan.

I think that’s the anime that I will be watching for this summer and I will update you with reviews once I have watched the anime. In the meantime, enjoy your summer time guys! I’m going to Bali on the 18th.
