Desktop Goodies: Haruhi and Mikuru Picture Frame

I have never made a picture frame before so I decided to give it a try. The picture is Haruhi Suzumiya and Mikuru Asahina from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The SOS Brigade logo is on the bottom left corner of the frame. The color of the frame is based of the colors on the SOS Brigade logo. This skin is a little complicated but simple once you get used to it. First you have to run the setup skin (RunThisFirstToSetUpImages.ini) to input an image path for the file with you pictures you want to display in it (type in the path, press enter). You can also input a delay time in milliseconds between each picture (type in the delay, press enter). You can press escape button to stop input text boxes from changing current values (if you accidentally click one). Initial setting for image path is my computer’s picture file, which your computer won’t find. The default delay loop is 10000 millisecond delay, any lower and it changes too quickly. Once you have your setting typed in you do not have to change them unless you want to change picture files. As a warning the input program stores the variables directly in the picture frame skin so be careful what you type in, basically don’t type in some huge random thing that doesn’t make sense. When you are done with settings either right-click the skin and go to variants and find HaruhiMikuruPicFrame.ini, or just open up your Rainmeter manager and load HaruhiMikuruPicFrame.ini. This is an experimental skin for me so if you have any problems with the setup skin or the actual picture frame skin please tell me. I have tested it with my computer but it might be different on another one. Hope you enjoy the skin!

    • You made sure to include the \ at the end of the file name right?
      For example: “C:\Users\Username\Desktop\”
If that is not it try updating Rainmeter and if that happens to fail try to manually edit the HaruhiMikuruPictureFrame.ini file. Look for the variable: “ImagePath=C:\Users\DustanZenthoefer\Pictures\Backgrounds\”
      Change it to:
For the number of milliseconds you just change “Update=10000” to whatever you need.
I believe that should fix everything, if not just take a screen shot of the problem and send me a message:
