Random Video: Avatar Mirrors User Facial Expression

At last, something that will make your head filled with nerdgasm! Japanese university students are developing a user facial expression program to be synchronized with an animated avatar. This program detects your facial expression and in real time it transmit the data to the avatar chosen to match your facial expression. I guess our world soon enough will be shifting to a 2 dimensional sosial networking environment. I can’t wait for this to be implemented as a commercial product.

  1. Sad part is, when this does become a commercial product, its probably gonna be expensive as hell.

  2. This fills me with excitement and sadness at the same time because this won’t be a real thing in the next 20 years like all the neat things we see concepts of =(

It makes my nerd senses tingle nonetheless =)
